We Just Put 10 Retired Service Loaners In The Certified Pre Owned Inventory.

These are 2010 models with between 6000-12,000 miles on them. There is one GLK350 and the rest are C300′s, both Sport and Luxury models. Prices are $30,981 for the GLK350 and the base model C300′s. There are 4 or 5 C300‘s with the P1 Premium Pkg that are priced at $31,981.

You know these will go quickly so please try to get in as soon as possible to take advantage of these special offers. These are all Certified which means you will get the remaining part of the new car warranty, plus one additional year of Certified warranty or up to 100,000 miles whichever comes first.

“Retired Service Loaners” Sometimes We Take For Granted You Know What We Mean…..

Take for instance our term “Retired Service Loaners”. A few days ago I added a posting in reference to us releasing some of our retired service loaners. A lot of you have taken advantage of this fantastic opportunity to purchase a nearly new car, with an extended warranty, at a substantially lower price. Some of you may be thinking, just what the heck is Dave talking about?

We keep an inventory of between 40-50 Mercedes-Benz cars that are here for our Mercedes-Benz Service Customers to use while their cars are in the shop. Most of these are out for a day or two and are used by our Customers to get back home or to work. Actually most of our Service Loaners are returned to us each night where we give them a bath, make sure there is gas in them and do a check over to insure they are prepared for the next Customers use. By the way, we don’t charge for our service loaners, they are free for our customers to use.

So we keep these cars, actually we use C300 Sedans and GLK350 SUV’s in the fleet, for approximately 8-10 months and at that time we replace the oldest vehicles with new cars to keep the fleet fresh. Some months we may replace 4-5 cars, some months we actually pull many more. This month, we just replaced 20 of our service loaners for new 2010 models so our selection of available “Retired Service Loaners” is huge.

Now unlike some dealers who may have similar programs, we don’t just pull these cars out and sell them as “Demos”, we go ahead and perform the Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre Owned inspection on each car, which then allows us to sell them to you as a Certified car and with the benifits of the CPO program. First of all, it increases the warranty you have on the car.

As all Mercedes-Benz USA vehicles come with a 4 year or 50,000 mile warranty, whichever comes first, and that warranty started when we placed the car in our service loaner fleet, the warranty you get is the remaining time and mileage of the 4 yrs/50,000 miles. We have used them for 8-10 so the remaining warranty is the 4 years minus the months in which it was a service loaner. Now as a Certified Pre Owned car, you get the remaining factory warranty plus one more year of Mercedes-Benz Certified Warranty. This also allows you to drive up to 100,000 miles within this time period. So bottom line, you get in most cases, more time and certainly more miles of warranty coverage than a brand new car.

And here is another great benifit of the Mercedes CPO program. You can purchase up to two additional years of Certified warranty for a very reasonable amount of money. You can end up with over 6 years of Mercedes-Benz warranty on your C300 or GLK that you buy as one of our “Retired Service Loaners”.

And that’s not all, these vehicles will qualify for Mercedes-Benz Finance programs that are currently available. For instance on a C300 that you purchase and finance for 36 months, you can get, on approved credit from MB Finance, 2.99% APR for 36 months or 4.99% APR for up to 66 months. Programs like these change from month to month so please give me a call to see what is the most current programs available.

That is the explaination of what a “Retired Service Loaner” is and the great benifits for you to purchase one. As of this morning there are 14 C300′s and two GLK350′s that are on the lot ready for sale. There are different color combinations and the current miles can range from as low as 6000 to as much as 15,000 miles. On the C300′s that are available, the cars without the P1 pkg are priced at $29,851. The ones with the P1 Premium pkg are $30,981. Again this includes the Certified program and all of those benifits.

We Just Released Some Retired Service Loaner Cars That Are For Sale!

If you follow along with my past Blog Posts, you probably know about the Sale of Retired Service Loaners and what a savings this is for the buyers of these Pampered Dealer Owned Automobiles. As a customer of Mercedes Benz of Georgetown, we offer to you FREE Service Loaner Cars when you have your car in our Service Department. We generally keep between 40-50 of our C-Class and GLK Class vehicles just for this use.

Then after a period of time, ususally between 8-10 months we will replace some of these loaners with new inventory. We then take the retired loaner cars and do the Mercedes Benz Certification inspection and put them in our pre owned Mercedes Benz inventory and offer them to you for sale at a sharply discounted price. Not only do you save in the sale price, but as a Certified Pre Owned car, you get the advantage of one additional year of Mercedes Benz Factory CPO Warranty, and the mileage limits are increased to 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.

These cars are in most cases driven by one of our Mercedes Benz owners for the day, and most of the cars spend the night right here at the Dealership. And every time a service loaner is returned by one of our Mercedes Benz owners, it gets a bath and checked over to insure the car is in tip top condition. Talk about a great one owner car, you won’t find a better car than one of our Certified Pre Owned, Retired Service Loaner Cars.

So here is the deal, these vehicles will have between 6000 and 16,000 miles on them. You get the balance of the original Mercedes Benz 4 yr or 50,000 miles warranty, plus the one year Certified Warranty. You can also purchase one or two more years of CPO warranty coverage at a very reasonable cost. These are sold first come first pick so to get the color combination you prefer, and to get one of the very low mile cars, you must act quickly.

Over the next week to 10 days, there will be a total of 22 of these vehicles put out on the lot for sale. As of this morning there are seven C300′s and one GLK350 available for immeadiate sale. On the C300 cars, some have the P1 Premium Pkg and some do not. The pricing of the C300′s with the P1 pkg is $30,981 and the price of the C300′s without P1 are $29,871. Again this price includes the Certified Warranty! I’m still waiting word from the Used Car Manager as to what the price is on the GLK350′s. I do know the one that is ready to go on the lot is a 4Matic model which is somewhat rare.

This is a Fantastic Opportunity to buy a nearly new, very lovingly cared for vehicle at a substantial price savings and get more warranty included than what it was as a new car. But wait, there is even more great news. The C-Class loaner cars that we just released for sale, will also be eligible for the low APR finance program through Mercedes Benz Finance. You can secure a rate of 2.99% APR for 36 months, 3.99% APR for 48 months and 4.99% APR for up to 66 months. This is OAC with MB Finance.
